PERSPEX® Opal / White

PERSPEX® Opal acrylic is available in a wide range of white tones, where a white colour palette is required or more specifically, for light box applications.

The range of light transmission through the opal sheet, up to 67%, receives maximum haze and subsequently offers the maximum light diffraction. This in turn, creates the desired lighting effect for any application.

Available in several variations from translucent to milky white, the Perspex® Opal range has a distinctive look that is ideal for applications that require diffused light:

  • Lighting: Starting with the most commonly designated application, Perspex® Opal is ideally suited to creating light boxes, decorative fixtures and lampshades, providing a subtle even glow.<p>

  • Signage: Perspex® Opal is well suited to signage applications due to its excellent light transmission. Creating a bright, even glow that is attractive to customers and easy to read.

  • Architecture: Used in architectural installations such as room dividers as well as wall and ceiling panels, the diffused light created by Perspex® Opal provides a calming, relaxing environment in any space.
